This Project was formed during the 'COVID-19' Lockdown in 2020 and 2021. The works are designed to appreciate the small things in the world around you, and not focus on the negatives during the stressful period.
CatCus

This work was inspired from a photograph my older brother sent me during his lockdown in Norwich. A stray cat, who now goes by the name 'Tino', jumped up onto my brother's window ledge and found an interest in something as simple as a Cactus.
Bookblock's #PositivePost

As a way to help keep people in touch during lockdown, 'Bookblock' set up a FREE postcard service, all of which have been created by arts / designers / illustrators. All you have to do is fill out the back with an address, a nice message and pay £1 for postage and donate £1 to the NHS.
I decided to upload my design along with the many others already there to choose from.

Fireplace

This piece was influenced by the fireplace in my university accommodation room.
My house is a traditional Victorian terrace, will a lot of the building's original character still there.
Beans on Toast

During the second lockdown period, I grew a taste for an English classic, 'Beans on Toast'.
So, in January 2021, I was tasked with diagramming a favourite meal, so of course I had a meal in mind, so got to diagramming.
I wanted to capture all the decisions I make when composing the dish, from the perfect golden brown slices of toast, to the ratio of beans to toast.
'just hang in there'

After passing 1 year into the 'Covid-19' pandemic in the UK, I felt it necessary to make a graphical piece to express in a crude way that we should 'just hang in there' a little longer.
While this 'Cat Poster' concept isn't original, I was drawn to making it as I believe it an important message to reflect on at this time.
